What to Know About Studio Delphinium Masks + Disclaimers
For people who don't want to read the FAQ or want to know more, this is where you can learn everything I have to offer about my masks.

As of January 2025,
My masks are made using photosensitive resin via SLA (Stereolithography) printing. This is the current standard for kigurumi mask making. The material is still fragile and should be handled very carefully. See this page for more information on proper care.

The mask comes in 2 parts-- the faceplate and the backplate. These parts are connected with a hinge and have a non-lockable latch on each side. I do not offer lockable masks.

The backplate has holes for increased airflow inside of the mask, but the wig does obstruct these holes.

The masks are "4/4", meaning the mask covers your entire head, leaving an opening around your neck. "3/4" masks are possible in some cases (depending on the hairstyle) but will still use latches. I do not offer "2/3" or "half-types". I cannot make 3/4 masks in one piece.

I am unable to make oversized masks (over 30cm tall).

The wig is not glued directly to the mask, and I do not offer this at this time. The wig is a removable "helmet" that is perfectly molded to the mask. In most cases, the wig helmet does not need any Velcro to stay attached and makes wig care much easier. Wigs that are heavy in the back may need Velcro. Without velcro, wigs may slide off if your head is tilted far backward (i.e. transitioning to lying on your back). This can be resolved with a small piece of Velcro.
Please note that I am not by any means a "wig expert" yet-- I am learning as I go.

Vision is usually directly through the inner corner of the eyes through mesh. The eye can be entirely mesh or just partial mesh. Holes in the creases are always included but are unlikely to be the main vision port. Vision holes may be in other places on the mask if necessary.

The inside of the mask is unpainted and may have paint overspray. The mask will come with velcro and sponge padding to apply yourself on the inside.

The eyes are attached with small magnets, but you may choose to have them glued in place. If you jump hard enough, the eye can get knocked off the magnet, so keep this in mind.

My masks are painted to match the Cantillon hadatai color, but they will match most skinsuits' "kig pink" well enough. If your character has a different skin tone than "kig pink", I will need to order fabric samples in order to color match, which will be an additional fee if I have not done the color before.
